Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store activities, including sales floor management, cashiering, and customer service interactions
• Lead and motivate retail staff through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize product visibility and sales potential
• Manage payroll, scheduling, and shift assignments to ensure optimal coverage during operating hours
• Conduct interviewing and onboarding of new employees to build a strong, capable team
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, POS system operation, and bookkeeping records
• Support purchasing decisions by monitoring inventory levels and assisting with pricing strategies
• Implement operational policies related to sales management, marketing initiatives, and store safety standards

Experience

• Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience within the retail industry or similar environment
• Strong background in retail sales management, including team supervision and customer service excellence
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting new staff members
• Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations
• Experience in managing budgets, merchandising strategies, and operational procedures such as stocking and pricing
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for effective communication with diverse customer bases
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Previous experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is advantageous but not required
