Try Career AgentPurpose of the Job We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our Creative Services team, specializing in temporary point-of-purchase (POP) displays. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for structural innovation, a deep understanding of materials and manufacturing, and proficiency in Esko ArtiosCAD. Experience with Autodesk 3ds Max is a strong plus, enabling enhanced visualization and client engagement. This position will be based in our office in Cincinnati, Ohio. Key Responsibilities Design and engineer temporary POP displays using Esko ArtiosCAD, ensuring functionality, brand alignment, and production feasibility. Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to develop creative, cost-effective display solutions. Produce dielines, prototypes, and production-ready files for corrugated, folding carton, and other temporary substrates. Translate creative briefs into structurally sound and visually compelling display concepts. Utilize Autodesk 3ds Max or similar 3D software to create high-quality renderings and animations for client presentations (preferred). Support sustainability initiatives by recommending eco-friendly materials and efficient design practices. Maintain awareness of retail trends, shopper behavior, and competitive display strategies. Knowledge, Skills + Experience 2+ years of experience in structural design for POP displays, preferably in a retail or packaging environment. Proficiency in Esko ArtiosCAD is required. Experience with Autodesk 3ds Max, SolidWorks, or other 3D visualization tools is a plus. Strong understanding of temporary display materials and manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and project management skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). Experience working with global brands and retail environments. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials. For Ohio based applicants: The U.S base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $105,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, education, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
