Job Description

Responsibilities

The University of Kentucky Alumni Association is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Temporary Social Media and Digital Content Coordinator to support communications efforts.
Photographing and filming alumni events
Editing short-form videos and graphics
Drafting social media copy
Monitoring engagement
Assisting with content planning and scheduling
Work closely with the communications and marketing team to capture and produce content for all digital platforms

Requirements

High School
Strong photography and videography skills
Experience managing social media platforms
Experience using DSLR or mirrorless cameras and professional photo/video equipment
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar editing software
Ability to create engaging short-form video content for social media
Strong written communication and storytelling skills
Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to operate camera

Preferred

Some college
Familiarity with university, alumni or nonprofit communications is a plus
