Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Sr. SEO Engagement Manager
Location: US – Hybrid / Remote
Full-time
Role Overview
iQuanti is delivering SEO strategy, technical SEO support, brief development, and measurement/reporting through a dedicated pod (SEO SME, engagement lead, engagement managers, and analysts). This role is additive to that scope.
The Senior SEO Engagement Manager is a full-time, dedicated resource embedded within internal environment — principally Adobe Workfront — whose core purpose is to navigate internal systems and processes and keep SEO work moving through them. The role connects iQuanti's existing SEO pod to stakeholders and internal workflow, translating priorities into tracked, well-managed execution on the client's side of the fence.
The role is deliberately positioned as a coordination, engagement, and workflow-navigation layer — not a second SEO strategist or technical lead. Deep SEO strategy and technical work continue to sit with the existing pod; this person needs enough SEO fluency to triage, represent, and coordinate that work credibly, with the primary strengths being communication, judgment, stakeholder management, and operational discipline inside the client's system.
What You’ll Be Doing
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary day-to-day SEO contact for stakeholders.
- Build trusted relationships across Marketing, Digital, Content, Technology, Analytics, UX, and other relevant teams.
- Translate SEO recommendations into clear business language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead day-to-day conversations on SEO priorities, deliverables, performance, risks, and dependencies.
- Manage stakeholder expectations around scope, priorities, timing, and tradeoffs.
- Apply sound judgment on when to recommend independently, when to engage additional iQuanti expertise, and when to escalate to the business owner.
- Navigate competing stakeholder priorities while maintaining alignment to established SEO goals.
SEO Program Leadership
- Own the day-to-day management and execution of organic SEO workflow.
- Translate quarterly strategy and priorities into actionable workstreams and deliverables.
- Manage intake, prioritization, assignment, tracking, and completion of SEO requests.
- Proactively identify opportunities, risks, blockers, and dependencies.
- Coordinate across iQuanti specialists and stakeholders to keep initiatives moving.
- Maintain accountability for quality, timeliness, and completion of SEO deliverables.
SEO Execution & Coordination
Triage, coordinate, and represent recommendations across the core organic SEO disciplines — drawing on the existing pod for depth:
- On-page SEO and metadata optimization
- Keyword and search-intent analysis
- Content optimization and SEO content briefs
- Internal linking strategy
- Technical SEO, crawlability, and indexation
- Structured data and site architecture
- Redirect and URL recommendations
- New-page and site-launch SEO QA
- Competitive and SERP analysis
- Organic visibility monitoring
Handle routine triage and coordination directly; route deeper technical, analytics, content, or strategic work to the existing iQuanti pod rather than duplicating it.
Workflow & Adobe Workfront Management
- Operate as an embedded user within Adobe Workfront.
- Manage SEO task intake, routing, documentation, status updates, dependencies, due dates, and approvals.
- Ensure tasks progress according to defined SLAs.
- Maintain visibility into open, completed, blocked, and upcoming work.
- Support prioritization decisions when urgent or unplanned requests arise.
Reporting — Coordination & Status
- Own status and workflow reporting — what is moving through Workfront: active, completed, blocked, and upcoming work against SLAs.
- Coordinate and present the monthly SEO performance reporting produced by the existing AOR team; the AOR team continues to produce the performance/outcomes analysis.
- Bring performance insights into day-to-day stakeholder conversations and connect completed workflow to reported outcomes where possible.
- Surface trends, risks, and emerging opportunities to stakeholders and route deeper analysis to the AOR pod.
- Support quarterly planning by contributing workflow and backlog context alongside the pod's performance view.
Who You Are
- 6–9+ years of SEO experience (fluency to triage and represent, not necessarily deepest-SME depth).
- 3–5+ years in a client-facing or enterprise stakeholder-management capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to operate inside a client's internal systems and workflow tools (Adobe Workfront or comparable).
- Experience supporting large, complex websites in a matrixed enterprise environment.
- Experience coordinating across marketing, content, UX, analytics, and technology teams.
- Financial-services or regulated-industry experience strongly preferred.
- Agency or embedded-client experience preferred.
