Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop yearly product strategy based on key brand initiatives, consumer insights, and entertainment strategy.
  • Lead and collaborate with key partners including Brand Publicity, Integrated Media and Consumer Marketing Teams to execute cohesive, impactful marketing programs across multiple consumer touch points to drive sales
  • Work with Design and Development to build an innovative toy line that is inspired by the Toy Strategy and improves channel growth opportunities and global retailer priorities
  • Maintain current knowledge of consumer, product and marketing trends and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze and interpret category data while collaborating with research team to inform the strategy
  • Work with leadership team, ensuring the brand has a relevant long term consumer position and achieves maximum volume profit/growth.
  • Own the development, analysis and communication of item-level forecasts, and partner with operations and logistics teams to manage inventory build.
  • Analyze and track POS performance and utilize data to drive decision making.
  • Partner with US Sales Organization to drive business at retail, including leading sales meeting presentations to customers and developing retailer-specific programs and activations.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive brand/strategy, product development experience in forward thinking consumer organization.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field. MBA strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to transform a strategy and vision into actionable plans in a rapidly-changing fast-paced organization.
  • A detailed understanding of the steps vital to bring products to market.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally.
  • Curiosity and a keen interest and ability to learn and evolve
  • Strong relationship building and maintenance skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track.
  • Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters.
