As a Sr. Manager Demand Excellence supporting the MTO Global Data Management Team in Fort Worth, TX or Switzerland, a typical day will include: Focus will be on Next Generation AI and Machine Learning capabilities. Lead the development and implementation of innovative supply chain solutions leveraging AI and machine learning technologies, while utilizing your project management expertise to drive successful outcomes. Develop/Lead a team which develops standardized processes, governance, and enablement that enhance scalability, efficiency, and effectiveness across the demand engine. Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap for demand planning capability maturity. Lead cross-functional initiatives to embed demand planning into IBP and S&OP processes. (develop/maintain/publish – process/work instructions/training/KPIs/etc.) Champion continuous improvement and innovation in forecasting methodologies. Serve as the Global Process Owner for Demand Planning and Inventory Optimization driving the operational excellence, processes, and frameworks that scale demand programs across regions, segments, and business units. Partner with IT, Analytics, Global S&OP and Regional planning teams to optimize end to end planning execution; measure organizational performance, maintain strategy, process, and systems in alignment with the needs of the Alcon Surgical and Vision Care Franchises. (add organization alignment to drive) Standardize demand planning/IO processes across business units and regions. Implement segmentation strategies, causal modeling, and demand sensing techniques. Drive adoption of system(s) and process. Data acumen: Master data understanding; data integration and transformation input/output to data lake and analytic environments.
