Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality, engaging, and brand-aligned video content specifically for social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create both short-form and long-form videos for a variety of clients, ensuring each video is platform-optimized.
• Stay on top of social media trends and incorporate trending sounds, effects, and styles into video content.
• Collaborate with the creative and social strategy teams to understand the goals and messaging behind each piece of content.
• Optimize video content for engagement, viewership, and platform algorithms (e.g., captions, tagging, formatting).
• Ensure videos maintain a consistent style and tone that aligns with client brand guidelines.
• Deliver content on time, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising quality.
• Review analytics to measure performance and suggest improvements to content and editing strategies.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in video editing, preferably with a focus on social media platforms.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous social media video content (please provide links).
• A deep understanding of social media platforms, including algorithm nuances and audience engagement strategies.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Proficiency with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, After Effects).
• Bachelor's degree in Video Production, Film, Digital Media, or related field (preferred but not required).
• Experience with CapCut for mobile editing is a plus.
• Experience creating viral, attention-grabbing social videos.
