CALX was not started with a business plan, but rather with passion. We began as watch collectors who built unique timepiece collections. Before we knew it, our collections grew beyond just a few favorites. It was clear that we had more than we could ever wear, and a new idea began to tick:Sharing this passion with others.We originally sold unique, magnetic watches. For the hour and minute hands, these watches featured free-rotating magnetic balls. After a year, we realized a new, missing gap in the watch market:Homage modded watches with the highest quality, authentic Seiko movements.Now, we work with watchmakers to handcraft watches in the United States and Japan. We build homage watches that we are proud to wear, every single day.
