Job Description

Responsibilities

Manage and update parish and school social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
Create engaging content that reflects Catholic identity, parish life, school activities, and upcoming events.
Capture photos and short videos at parish and school events when needed.
Monitor messages, comments, and online conversations; respond or route inquiries appropriately.
Maintain a consistent brand voice rooted in hospitality, faith, and community.
Maintain and update the Parish website.
Work closely with the pastor, principal, staff, and ministry leaders to gather information and promote activities.
Maintain communication calendars for both parish and school.
Assist with promotional materials for parish events, fundraisers, and school programs.
Ensure communication reflects the values and teachings of the Catholic Church.

Requirements

Faithful to the Catholic Church and teachings
Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to communicate in a warm, pastoral tone.
Familiarity with Catholic parish life and comfort communicating within a faith-based environment.
Ability to create basic graphics and short videos (Canva or similar tools).
Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
Photography or videography experience is a plus.
Joyful communicator with a heart for evangelization.
Respectful of Catholic teaching and parish culture.
Creative, flexible, and attentive to detail.
