Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the social media content calendar, including scheduling, publishing, and day-to-day management of channels. Ensure content is delivered consistently and aligns with established timelines and priorities.
  • Create engaging, on-brand content including graphics, short-form video, and basic motion graphics/ animation that align with clear and compelling copy. Bring ideas to life in a way that feels dynamic, relevant, and aligned with the bank’s voice.
  • Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner. Actively engage with audiences to encourage interaction and build a sense of community, while capturing content at community events, branch activities, and bank initiatives.
  • Contribute ideas for content themes, campaigns, and new formats to keep social fresh and engaging. Stay current on social media trends and identify opportunities that align with the bank’s brand and guidelines.
  • Track performance metrics and provide insights to the marketing team, using data to refine content and improve results over time. Support broader marketing goals such as brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and internal partners to align social media with campaigns and business priorities. Ensure all social media activities adhere to industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in social media, marketing, communications, or content creation (internships included)
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content (portfolio required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent in work experience.

Preferred

  • Experience creating short-form video and/or basic motion graphics
  • Familiarity with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
  • Basic understanding of how social media supports broader digital marketing efforts (e.g. website traffic, engagement)
