Role Description

Are you looking for a side gig? EmPower Family Wellness Center hosts intentional community social events, and we need someone who knows how to make people feel welcome the moment they walk in. The Social Event Facilitator will lead connection-focused events that promote connection and wellness.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate event flow and participant engagement
• Assist with light setup and cleanup
• Create a welcoming environment throughout the event
• Record footage of the event for marketing and documentation purposes
• Collect and upload participant evaluations post-events

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning, coordination, or group facilitation
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse families and individuals
• Time management and organizational skills to manage logistics and schedules effectively
• Knowledge of family wellness, mindfulness practices, or creative arts is a plus
• Flexibility to fulfill hybrid working requirements, with reliable transportation for in-person events
• Must be able to pass background check

Pay: $25/hour | Up to 2 hours per event
