Lead social copywriting and creative development for high-visibility campaigns at an agency, guiding voice, tone, and concept execution.
- Own ideation, concepting, and copy for lo-fi to social-first campaigns.
- Lead social-forward copywriting across various formats and platforms.
- Develop tone and voice that informs high-visibility campaigns and pitches.
- Collaborate with Creative Production, Strategy, Creative, and Editorial teams to bring ideas to life.
- Review all creative assets before client release, providing actionable feedback.
- Attend client meetings and present creative ideas as a liaison between Saylor and clients.
- Assist on pitches with storytelling and copy that sells the creative concept.
- Generate high-volume content concepts from existing content libraries.
- Adapt legacy IP brand voice to remain sharp and social-first.
- Support scripting and production kick-off meetings with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in an agency setting or in-house at a studio or brand, with experience creating and leading marketing/branded content.
- High-level understanding of 360 campaign creative; social-forward aesthetic and storytelling thinking is a must.
- Proven ability to consistently write sharp, social-first copy across various formats and platforms.
- Incredible storytelling skills, with the ability to assist on pitches and sell the creative in the room to our clients.
- A knack for juggling multiple brand voices and crafting copy for social posts, pitch decks, and voice-intensive projects.
- An eye for strong ideas and executions with the ability to communicate its effectiveness.
- Finger on the pulse of creative culture across platforms and able to pull references from diverse sources.
- Ability to seamlessly bounce between projects of varying complexity.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet tight, high-volume deadlines.
- Honed ability to give and receive constructive criticism.
- Attention to detail especially in regards to proofreading and MLA-level formatting.
