Position Summary:
Nashville SC Soccer Squad will serve as community ambassadors for the Club at key community-based events and programs throughout Nashville. This group will be integral to executing community outreach through soccer programming. The Soccer Squad will also serve as an extension of the Community Engagement department by assisting with our core youth soccer programs including Grassroots Soccer, IMPACT Soccer, MNPS P.L.A.Y.S., and more.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate soccer-specific activations at community engagement events while providing superb customer service and displaying excitement about the organization.
  • Act as an extension of the club’s community engagement department by providing information on various soccer programs.
  • Assist with program set-up and breakdown.
  • Collect and report valuable feedback and insights after each event to provide back to the team supervisors.
Shift Information:
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Some shifts will require picking up materials to transport to the event site, plus setting up and taking down materials.
Qualifications:
  • A general interest and working knowledge of the sport of soccer.
  • Should be able to answer basic questions about the game, NSC’s schedule and roster, etc.
  • Experience playing the game and coaching youth is preferred but not required.
  • Strong people and communication skills.
  • Comfortable promoting and interacting with new people at NSC events with a fun and positive attitude.
  • Collaborative personality who works well with others on their team.
  • Enjoys engaging with team members and is responsive to messages.
  • Must have transportation, a good driving record, and valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable and punctual, being on-time is important to you.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is helpful but not required.
  • Must be able to move and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Background check is required.
