*Job Overview* We are currently looking for a few individuals to train for management positions at our existing restuarants in the Columbia area, then assist to open a brand new location in May. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences, this role is your perfect stepping stone to a rewarding career in the food industry. *Responsibilities* * Assist with overseeing daily restaurant operations during shifts, ensuring smooth service and high standards of food quality and safety * Support staff training and development to foster a motivated and efficient team environment * Help manage food preparation processes, including cooking, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards * Operate POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy * Contribute to inventory control by monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and minimizing waste * Supervise team members in food production, customer service, and kitchen tasks to ensure excellent guest experiences * Participate in shift management duties such as scheduling support, supervising staff performance, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations *Requirements* * Previous experience or familiarity with quick service & fast food restaurant operations or casual dining environments is preferred * Strong knowledge of food preparation and food safety standards * Experience with POS systems is advantageous * Demonstrated leadership skills through supervising or team management roles * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently * Background in food industry roles such as culinary experience, kitchen management, or catering is highly desirable * Proven ability to train staff effectively and support their development through coaching and mentoring * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and food management processes * Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us as a Shift Manager Trainee and take the first step toward a dynamic career where your leadership can shine!
