Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering SEO and GEO strategies aligned with clients’ commercial objectives
  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts and building trusted, long-term relationships
  • Conducting technical SEO audits and turning findings into clear, prioritised action plans
  • Identifying opportunities to improve organic visibility, website performance and conversions
  • Creating content strategies informed by audience needs, search demand and emerging AI discovery behaviours
  • Helping clients improve their visibility and citations across generative search and AI platforms
  • Undertaking keyword, competitor, content-gap and search-intent research
  • Monitoring changes in search engines, AI platforms and user behaviour, then adapting strategies accordingly
  • Working with Hound’s PR specialists to develop campaigns that build brand authority, earn high-quality coverage and support search performance
  • Collaborating with writers, developers, designers and PR teams to deliver integrated campaigns

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering SEO strategies, either in an agency or in-house environment
  • Strong knowledge of technical, on-page and content-led SEO
  • An understanding of GEO, AI search, answer engines and the factors influencing brand visibility within generated responses
  • Experience managing client or stakeholder relationships
  • The ability to turn data and technical findings into clear, practical recommendations
  • Confidence using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and leading SEO platforms
  • Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive, curious mindset and a willingness to experiment
  • The ability to manage several priorities without losing sight of quality or commercial impact

Preferred

  • An understanding of digital PR, link earning, brand authority or entity optimisation would be a strong advantage
  • You don’t need to know everything about GEO already. The field is evolving quickly, so we value sound SEO judgment, intellectual curiosity and the ability to test, learn and adapt.
