Responsibilities

• Edit high-converting paid social video ads for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube at volume, with fast turnarounds
• Review other editors’ cuts and give clear, specific feedback that improves the next version
• Document what works: hooks, pacing, caption styles, structures that win, so the team can repeat it
• Partner closely with Creative Strategists to make sure concepts are executed as intended
• Own your deadlines and output without needing constant direction
• Help refine workflows, templates, and QA as the team scales

Requirements

• 4+ years editing paid social ads for DTC / eCommerce brands
• A portfolio of paid social ads that have performed at scale
• Deep understanding of what drives DTC ad performance: hooks, pacing, retention, storytelling, captions, B-roll, and the first 3 seconds
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects (CapCut a plus)
• Experience reviewing or mentoring other editors and giving actionable feedback
• Comfortable with high volume, tight deadlines, and data-driven iteration
• Takes ownership, moves fast, and flags problems before they become bottlenecks
• Available to work 9:30 AM–5:30 PM Eastern, Monday–Friday

Preferred

• Experience at a 7- to 9-figure DTC brand or performance creative agency
• Familiarity with creative testing frameworks and reading ad performance data
• Experience with UGC-style and influencer-driven content
