Job Description

Responsibilities

Edit short-form content for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook
Improve hooks, pacing, structure, B-roll, graphics, captions, sound, music, storytelling, and CTAs
Adapt trends, formats, memes, transitions, and platform-native styles
Create platform-specific versions and repurpose efficiently
Use retention, watch time, engagement, and conversion data to improve edits
Maintain brand consistency, quality, licensing, and organized files

Requirements

Several years of professional social video-editing experience
Strong, current, verifiable portfolio
Excellent creative judgment and full ownership from raw footage to delivery
Strong command of hooks, retention, pacing, storytelling, captions, sound, trends, and conversion-focused editing
Strong spoken/written English and direct communication
Fast, reliable execution; stable internet
Capacity for substantial recurring workload and deadlines
Quality: Current, platform-native, story-led, polished, licensed, error-free, organized, on time, on-brand, and revision-accurate.

Preferred

Preferred: contractor/home-service or owner/founder/influencer content; direct-response ads; branded/educational content; motion graphics/VFX; repurposing; AI/automation; performance-driven editing.
