Job Description
Responsibilities
- Leads development of product marketing plans by preparing objectives, strategies, tactics, profit and loss projections, including short and long-term strategies. Participate in strategic sales and marketing planning activities for effective customer segmentation, targeting, and promotion.
- Develops and implements product marketing deliverables including claims matrices, competitive analysis, launch planning, promotional assets (web, social media, brochures, etc.). Work with Marketing Communications and other departments to ensure products are properly positioned.
- Own all downstream New Product Introduction (NPI) planning and execution including positioning collateral, social media or digital promotion, field communication, performance metric collection, and forecasting. Work effectively with the Sales Advisory Council (SAC) to ensure deliverables are high quality and pertinent to their needs.
- Collaborate with professional education and medical affairs to enhance existing product marketing activities (surgeon education programs, white papers, testimonials, clinical study summaries, etc.).
- Collaborate with Field Personnel to participate in effective surgeon/key account field visits, enhance Customer Relationship Management, and maintain engagement where needed.
- Work with critical internal stakeholders including those in Regulatory, Legal, Medical Affairs, and Product development to ensure assets comply while expediting the copy approval process before releasing to key internal and external customers.
- Build revenue forecasting for all product lines in the NCC and MIS Neurosurgery product lines. This includes updating demand forecasting to ensure Supply & Operational Planning is accurate and maximizes net revenue targets. Monitor forecasts as necessary and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure product availability throughout the product lifecycle
- Maintain frequent and regular contact with strategic industry experts, trade organizations and scientific societies; participates in key meetings and conferences to ensure company and products are perceived superior relative to the competition
- Support the Company’s medical education initiative by assisting in the preparation and running of surgeon training courses when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12+ years of total work experience; master’s degree/MBA preferred; 8+ years' experience in marketing and/or commercial functions within medical device or healthcare-related fields is required.
- Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to bring structure and process to vaguely defined problems is required.
- Operating Room or Neuro Intensive Care product technology experience strongly preferred
- Strong project management, written communications, verbal, and presentation skills are required.
- Must be highly collaborative, with a proven ability to lead, operate and influence cross-functionally and to influence without authority.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with ability to structure a problem-solving approach and manage execution required
- Travel requirement approximately 25%

- Data Analysis / AI fluency: Demonstrated capability in using Co-Pilot / AI tools when assessing or analyzing data for decision making.
