Brief Job Description: / SCOPE OF SERVICES:

The NYC CLIENT is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager 3, for the position of Senior Project Manager, Digital Services (Web Projects).

To meet the needs of subjects, CLIENT's Digital Service team is requesting a Project Manager to manage the creation of public-facing digital experiences in partnership with agencies and stakeholders across the board. Projects may include guided experiences for affordable housing, just moved to NYC, benefits access and more.

The Senior Project Manager will work with the CLIENT's Digital Service team to oversee the entire project lifecycle from planning, tracking and delivery with quality and on time. The project manager will serve as key communication link between internal and external stakeholders, develop and own delivery on timelines and help facilitate meetings to resolve issues and keep work aligned to deliver results.

Tasks:

• Work with team to define project objectives and create and maintain detailed work plan.
• Lead and manage tasks within the team and plan communication cadence within team and with external stakeholders.
• Monitor project activities, document agreements, communicate to project stakeholders, and escalate issues on a timely basis.
• Maintain project documentation ensuring alignment with objectives.
• Set up and manage user stories in Azure DevOps project.

Mandatory Skills / Experience:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience managing web projects
• Demonstrated experience delivering quality websites and web features from inception to launch including creating project schedules, sharing updates, set expectations and manage stakeholders
• Ability to proactively plan and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a complex environment and elevate issues for resolution.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coach team to remove blockers identify dependencies that may slow the team down.
• Expertise in software delivery best practices with proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar system for ticketing and issue resolution.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with leadership, experts, and decision makers cross-functionally and across teams, coaching teams to drive outcomes
• Knowledge of agile ways of working and modern software development practices
• Experience setting up project management tooling for teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Manage quality assurance testing according to city process
• Manage and execute software release process
• Interface with technical teams and have experience working with them...

Desired Skills:

• Background in journalism, writing or marketing with keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with SEO
• Proficient in Content Management Systems (CMS) like AEM and SEO tools.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred
• Understanding of common PM tooling such as Airtable, Azure, Jira, etc.
• Experience managing budgets and resources.

Requirements: 3-Days/Week On-Site in New York, NY is a MUST.

Work Hours: M-F: 40 hrs/wk.

Pay: $55.01 - $75.03 per hour
