Job Description

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $87,000.00 in our lowest geographic market to $172,200.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

You’ll join the Converse Communications team, shaping how the business speaks to its people. You’ll report to the Director of Business Communications – Converse and partner across Global Communications, Brand, Human Resources, Strategy, Finance, and Operations, while engaging senior leaders and teams across the global organization.

The ideal candidate is a confident writer and thoughtful partner, skilled at influencing leaders and aligning cross-functional teams around a shared narrative. They operate with strong judgment, move with speed and precision, and know how to prioritize in a fast-moving, global environment. They are equally comfortable crafting executive-level messaging, building editorial content, and managing integrated communication plans that drive engagement and clarity across the organization.
  • 5+ years of experience in employee, internal, or business communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Proven experience partnering with corporate functions and senior stakeholders
  • Strong expertise in writing, storytelling, and editorial planning across internal and digital channels
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations
What You’ll Work On
You will shape how Converse connects with its employees—bringing strategy to life through clear, purposeful communication. You’ll drive messaging that informs, engages, and inspires while building alignment across teams and strengthening connection to the brand.
  • Lead employee and business communications that connect teams to Converse strategy, priorities, and transformation efforts
  • Translate complex business topics into clear, actionable messaging for global audiences across multiple channels
  • Partner closely with Human Resources, Strategy, Finance, Operations, and Brand teams to build integrated communication plans
  • Create and manage editorial content that elevates Converse culture, product priorities, and internal storytelling
  • Own and manage internal communication channels, including email, intranet, and LinkedIn employer brand storytelling
  • Develop communications and toolkits that support change and transformation, enabling managers to drive team engagement
  • Define and track communication metrics, using insights to continuously improve reach, engagement, and understanding
