Maverick is looking for an Producer to help grow our commercial production company and lead projects from agency relationship through final delivery.

Maverick is an integrated collective of award-winning directors, producers, and post/VFX partners. We collaborate with advertising agencies and brands to produce high-end commercials, branded content, stills, and immersive work.

This role sits on the core leadership team, working closely with the CEO to drive new business, director relationships, and production excellence.

Drive agency relationships

• Build and maintain relationships with agency producers, creatives, and brand teams
• Identify opportunities and connect Maverick directors with agencies
• Lead director showcases and portfolio presentations

Win and develop projects

• Lead bidding and project development for commercial and branded work
• Partner with directors on treatments and creative approaches
• Guide projects from initial conversations through award and production

Manage directors

• Support and grow Maverick’s roster of commercial directors
• Help position directors with the right agencies and projects
• Identify opportunities to expand the roster

Oversee production

• Ensure projects run smoothly from bid through delivery
• Refine workflows and processes to improve efficiency and quality
• Collaborate with producers, coordinators, and post partners

• Significant experience in commercial or branded content production
• Deep understanding of the advertising agency ecosystem
• Experience bidding and winning commercial projects
• Strong relationships with agencies and producers (a big plus)
• Experience managing directors or creative talent
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong networking and business development instincts
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to spot and convert opportunities
