Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Launch & Campaign Execution: Leading multi-channel communications strategies for priority product moments, managing OEM partnerships and setting and achieving clear PR metrics tied directly to sales, conversion and growth goals.
  • Cross-Functional Matrix Leadership: Serving as the strategic communications connector across product management, marketing, legal, segment and local teams to align competing priorities and build unified positioning across all channels.
  • Media Relations: Driving proactive media strategy and maintaining and growing strong relationships with tech and lifestyle media to drive brand share of voice. Managing sensitive issues and handling risk management and brand reputation as appropriate.
  • Agile & Insights-Driven Storytelling: Translating consumer trends and product features into compelling narratives that differentiate offerings in the market and across growth segments.
  • Brand Reputation: Proactively identifying campaign launch risks and draft clear risk mitigation messaging to build and protect brand reputation during critical moments.
  • Executive Support & Messaging: Drafting spokesperson briefings, messaging frameworks and executive Q&As as appropriate.
  • Agency Management: Helping oversee day-to-day agency workflows, ensuring campaign deliverables, timelines and budgets align with business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering across brand, marketing, segment and local teams to ensure unified positioning and connected message across all channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading complex product launches that deliver measurable business results.
  • Proven ability to build consensus, influence cross-functional leaders and navigate conflicting priorities without direct authority.
  • Strong project management skills with a history of delivering high-quality work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Preferred

  • Background in consumer electronics, consumer tech, or product marketing/ communications.
  • Proven track record of developing integrated communications plans that extend beyond traditional public relations into full-funnel marketing strategies.
  • Established relationships with key editors, tech reviewers and lifestyle reporters.
  • Experience and appetite as it relates to AI tools.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills with a willingness to travel as needed.
