Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee completion and delivery of recurring media reports, including weekly/monthly brand delivery reports and monthly/quarterly investment summaries.
  • Ensure quality assurance of junior team members, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Check data against source-of-truth systems (ad servers, Nielsen, 1P buying platforms, etc.).
  • Create analysis, both regular and ad hoc, to provide benchmarks, summaries and observations to Planning & Investment teams to improve media plans/buys.
  • Serve as internal consultant to peers on cross-functional teams to assist in problem solving, brainstorming, or test design.
  • Overseeing junior team members’ delivery of routine media delivery reports.
  • Take on projects to develop standardized benchmarks and recommendations, summarized from delivered or 3rd party data.
  • Completion of tasks requires pulling, organizing, and formatting large data sets to anticipate questions and needs for internal/client teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics or related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of experience in either/both media planning and/or investment.
  • Knowledge of Reach-based planning and sound media fundamentals is necessary.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel for data compilation, calculation, and automation.
  • Must-have: Strong communication & leadership skills.
  • Basic SQL experience will be needed.
  • Understanding of developing repeatable datasets for automation, taxonomy, and simple data wrangling techniques.
  • Experience with Nielsen systems (NielsenONE, NPower/TV Toolkit, NMI), Digital Adservers, and Digital Verification/Viewability Systems.
