Responsibilities

  • Overseas PR Framework & Communications: Analyze regional nuances and competitor landscapes across North America and Latin America to design distinct, localized PR blueprints, managing each campaign from initial concept to media coverage.
  • Media Relations & Ecosystem Expansion: Conduct proactive outreach and maintain trusted partnerships with Tier-1 tech journalists, financial outlets, and wire services. Coordinate with local product operations teams to integrate regional creator networks and MCN resources.
  • Reputation Management & Crisis PR: Oversee daily media monitoring and risk assessment across NA and LATAM. Establish routine response frameworks and messaging for sensitive global topics—such as AI ethics and data privacy—ensuring rapid, compliant resolution of breaking issues.
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration: Serve as the strategic execution link between regional markets and China headquarters. Align local PR initiatives with overall group communication goals while leading the localized planning and rollout for major product launches and key milestones.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on PR experience within tech corporations, multinational enterprises, or global PR agencies, with a documented history of navigating North American, European, or Latin American (especially Brazilian) media landscapes.
  • An established, directly accessible portfolio of relationships with journalists and editors driving western tech, finance, and consumer lifestyle media, paired with an understanding of western editorial logic.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with exceptional brand planning and a proven capacity for high-quality content creation, speechwriting, and press copy.
  • Native or near-native English fluency, with a masterful command of written communication and an intuitive grasp of regional cultural nuances.
  • Deep cross-cultural empathy and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to adapt to cross-timezone collaboration with China-based teams under high-intensity project cycles.

Preferred

  • Experience leading industry-benchmark brand campaigns or successfully driving explosive organic growth for consumer mobile apps in western markets.
  • Professional working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese , Portuguese or Spanish to facilitate seamless cross-border teamwork.
  • A genuine passion for the evolution of generative AI and digital aesthetics, characterized by a proactive interest in testing new AI photo/video applications and translating technical code into resonant human stories.
