The Senior Finance Manager US Market Brand will play a critical role in supporting the financial performance and strategic direction of our US Market brands. This role requires heavy business partnering with Genmab cross-functional teams to drive growth and ensure financial goals are met. The Brand Senior Finance Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of brand financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and strategic planning. A strong strategic mindset, cross functional partnership, extensive financial acumen, and the ability to lead and influence are key requirements. This position reports to the Director Brand Finance.
Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60-day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities

• Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for US Market Brands in close collaboration with our alliance partners
• Provide strategic financial guidance to brand and alliance leadership, identifying opportunities for growth, and providing recommendations that influence business decisions
• Support financial management of our commercial alliances and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with contractual obligations
• Monitor and analyze brand performance across full P&L
• Collaborate closely with Commercial and Medical Affairs functions to support brand strategies and initiatives
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and scenario planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Other responsibilities and projects assigned by Finance and US Market leadership
  

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required. A CPA/ MBA or other graduate degree is desired.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in operational finance
• Experience with revenue forecasting is required
• SAP and Financial Reporting systems experience is a plus
• Alliance partnership experience is a plus
• Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP and IFRS)
• Ability to frame and communicate to leadership clearly and concisely
• Progressive, forward thinker; ambitious; comfortable with ambiguity; tenacious; flexible
• Drive tangible results, able to push for results but also collaborate with others to drive them
• Effective in using technology and analytics tools to ensure timely, accurate, and insightful forecasts
• Team player with an ownership mentality who will “roll up the sleeves,” and demonstrate a diplomatic, intuitive and mature presence; operate well in a fast-paced environment
  

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:
$123,840.00---$185,760.00
The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
