Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Field Marketing Strategy & Pipeline Ownership: Own the UK field marketing plan aligned to revenue targets across core and mid-market segments; Build integrated field campaigns that combine events, partner activity, ABM, and outbound support; Define clear pipeline targets and ROI expectations for all field programmes; Prioritise activity based on commercial impact, not volume or brand exposure.
  • Events (End-to-End Commercial Ownership): Own the full lifecycle of events across: Tradeshow and exhibitions, Conferences and sponsored events, Owned events (roundtables, dinners, VIP experiences), Webinars and hybrid experiences.; Define success metrics upfront (pipeline, SQLs, revenue influence); Work with Sales on target account selection and attendee strategy; Ensure strong pre-event activation (outreach, booking meetings, partner alignment); Drive high-impact engagement on the day (not passive attendance); Own post-event follow-up strategy (sales enablement, nurture, conversion tracking).
  • Partner & Channel Marketing Activation: Develop and execute joint campaigns with key partners (e.g. accountants, bureaus, tech partners); Design partner-led events and co-marketing activations; Support the growth of partner-sourced pipeline and revenue via in-person engagements; Align closely with the Partnerships team to activate high-value partner segments.
  • Field & Outbound Campaign Support: Design and execute targeted field campaigns to support outbound sales motions; Lead creative and execution of direct mail, gifting, and account-based activations; Collaborate with Sales Development and Account Executives to increase conversion rates across key accounts; Use intent data and insights to prioritise accounts and personalise outreach.
  • Sales Alignment & Revenue Impact: Act as a true partner to Sales—embedded in regional and segment strategies; Build joint plans with Sales leaders to support pipeline generation and deal acceleration; Ensure all activity supports clear commercial goals (pipeline, win rate, deal velocity); Track performance and continuously optimise based on revenue outcomes.
  • Measurement, ROI & Optimisation: Define and report on key metrics including: Pipeline generated, Cost per opportunity, Pipeline-to-revenue conversion, Event ROI and payback period.; Build post-activation reviews with clear insights and recommendations; Continuously test and optimise field programmes to improve efficiency and impact.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years in B2B field marketing, demand generation, or regional marketing (ideally SaaS or tech)
  • Proven track record of delivering pipeline and revenue through field programmes
  • Experience working with Sales teams on account-based and outbound motions
  • Strong commercial mindset with ability to prioritise high-impact activities
  • Experience managing: Events (owned + third-party), Partner marketing / channel activation, Direct mail / ABM-style campaigns.
  • Data-driven with strong understanding of marketing attribution and funnel metrics
  • Excellent stakeholder management across Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing.
