Responsibilities

• Shaping and delivering Roarke Regenerative’s messaging across internal and external channels.
• Managing day-to-day communications tasks, including drafting press releases, creating media materials, and coordinating outreach to press and partners.
• Developing and executing strategic communication plans that support program initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
• Writing and editing content for newsletters, social media, the website, and internal updates.
• Ensuring consistency with the organization’s mission and brand.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Monitoring communication performance, and refining key messages to increase visibility, donor engagement, and community participation.

Requirements

• Strong general Communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to diverse audiences and channels.
• Experience with Press Releases and media relations, including drafting announcements and coordinating with journalists or media outlets.
• Background in Strategic Communications, with the ability to plan, implement, and assess communication campaigns that support organizational goals.
• Advanced Writing and editing skills for digital and print content, with attention to clarity, accuracy, and tone.
• Experience in Internal Communications, including employee updates, leadership messaging, and cross-team information sharing.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with nonprofit or environmental sectors, sustainability, or climate-related initiatives is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with common communication tools and platforms (e.g., email marketing, social media management, basic CMS use).
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Environmental Studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and respectful collaboration in a mission-driven environment.

• Base salary: $150,000–$165,000, commensurate with experience, plus a competitive annual performance bonus
