Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analysis & Insights
  • - Develop and lead analytics for pricing, promotions, and assortment, partnering with Sales, Finance, and marketing to align on business objectives and financial goals and providing recommendations to meet said objectives.
  • - Provide data-driven recommendations to Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to optimize sales and profitability.
  • - Conduct competitive pricing and market condition analyses. Present recommended adjustments and identified opportunities to cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Pricing & Promotion Management
  • - Design pricing models to maximize revenue and profitability and lead implementation of models gaining buy in and support from cross functional team members.
  • - Monitor and analyze planned and executed promotional activities by item, channel, and category.
  • - Create promotional strategies by customer, channel, and category and forecast their impact on both internal and customer facing financial metrics.
  • - Lead internal customer line review process and analysis and model impacts to both internal financial metrics and customer facing metrics.
  • Reporting & Process Improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in Revenue Growth Management, Pricing, Category Management, Sales, Finance, or a related analytical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of key business and financial metrics, with the ability to explain calculations, insights, and business implications to both technical and non-technical audiences (e.g., Gross Margin, Net Margin, Market Share, Price Elasticity, ROI, CAGR).
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience working with large and complex datasets to identify trends, develop actionable recommendations, and drive business decisions.
  • Experience developing predictive models and applying statistical techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and other quantitative analyses.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience analyzing large-scale datasets; proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, compelling, and decision-ready insights.
  • Proven ability to partner across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Management, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop revenue growth strategies, influence stakeholders, build alignment, and drive business results.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, evaluate competing perspectives, and solve complex business problems using data and sound judgment.
  • Track record of delivering accurate, high-quality work with measurable business impact and attention to detail.

Preferred

  • Experience in retail environments with price elasticity and market modeling.
  • Proficiency in data preparation/transformation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Talend).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence platforms and advanced analytics tools.
