Position Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to be a trusted day-to-day partner to our clients and a strong leader within our account teams.
You’ll own client relationships, keep projects moving, and make sure our work is strategically strong, creatively ambitious and delivered to a high standard. You’ll bring confidence, commercial awareness and excellent organisation, while knowing when to challenge, when to collaborate and when to push an idea further.
This is a role for someone who understands that great account management is more than keeping things on track, it’s about building trust, spotting opportunities and helping teams do their best work.
What are the key responsibilities for the role?
- Own day-to-day client relationships, becoming a trusted and proactive partner.
- Lead projects and campaigns from brief through to delivery, managing timelines, budgets, scope and expectations.
- Translate client objectives into clear briefs and actionable direction for internal teams.
- Work closely with Strategy, Creative, Social, Influencer and Production teams to deliver integrated social-first work.
- Challenge clients and internal teams constructively, bringing fresh thinking and solutions to problems.
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts, strengthen relationships and add value.
- Manage budgets, scopes and commercial considerations confidently.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, status updates and campaign reviews.
- Anticipate risks and resolve issues before they become problems.
- Support and mentor Account Executives and Account Managers, helping raise the standard of account management across the team.
- Contribute to pitches, proposals and new business opportunities.
- Champion Campfire’s standards, ways of working and values across every client relationship.
Required Skills For The Role
- Strong agency account management experience, ideally within social, digital or creative.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial and budget management awareness.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working at pace.
- Confident working with senior clients and challenging constructively.
- A strong understanding of social media, digital culture and the wider creative landscape.
- A natural problem solver who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- A collaborative leader who brings out the best in others.
- Someone who genuinely cares about the quality and impact of the work.
