Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Account management, including project management to complete deliverables, on-time and with high-quality, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients – fostering strong and collaborative relationships
  • Consistent execution of strategic pitch writing and targeting that results in top-tier media placements for our clients
  • Strategic marketing support that best supports clients in the market
  • Professional interactions with clients, vendors, media, and colleagues
  • Provide creative, thoughtful ideas/initiatives relevant to the client (all the while being mindful of budgets and expectations)
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and media coverage to provide strategic insights and recommendations for optimizing client campaigns
  • Review writing and media lists of junior staff and provide positive and constructive feedback
  • Demonstrate best practices and be an example for junior staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in public relations and/or marketing, with a focus on wine & spirits
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and executing integrated PR campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Deep understanding of the Italian wine landscape, including industry trends, key players, and regulatory considerations.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and engage diverse audiences across various channels.
  • Strong media relations skills, with a robust network of contacts in relevant trade, consumer, and lifestyle outlets.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, able to develop innovative strategies that differentiate our clients in the market.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to conduct regular outreach to potential clients and promote agency
