Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Communications in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials, maintain required logs, and report access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
