Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Receive, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, routine requests, and critical incidents using campus communication systems and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs and incident documentation, including dispatch activity, calls for service, and communications with responding personnel and local agencies as applicable.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating timely communication with officers, supervisors, and campus stakeholders.
- Monitor communication channels, alarms, cameras, and/or access-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Preferred
