Responsibilities

• Promote Career and Transfer Services and Student Navigator resources by tabling at campus events and high-traffic locations.
• Research internships, part-time, full-time, and entry-level employment opportunities relevant to TEC programs and share findings with the Career and Transfer Specialist.
• Create and post engaging, professional content on the School of TEC Instagram account to promote events and career resources.
• Assist with marketing and outreach efforts to increase student awareness of TEC services and events.
• Represent the School of TEC in a professional, welcoming, and positive manner while interacting with students.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid FAFSA on file
• Must have a financial need, as demonstrated by the FAFSA
• Must be matriculated into a program
• Attending at least half-time (6 credit hours)
• Maintain satisfactory progress (SAP) towards the completion of their program

Preferred

• GPA requirement of 3.0.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable speaking with students and representing the School of TEC at campus events.
• Familiarity with Instagram and social media content creation.
• Organized, dependable, and able to work independently.
