Job Title: SAP Retail & CAR Consultant Location: Flexible location, United States Duration: 4 Months Contract description Lead the conceptualization, solution design, and roadmap for large‐scale SAP Retail transformations, covering master data, pricing, promotion, and SAP CAR capabilities. Design and configure SAP Retail Master Data and Pricing & Promotion processes to support complex retail assortments, channels, and promotions across stores and digital. Own the SAP CAR solution scope, including POSDTA, On‐Shelf Availability (OSA), and Inventory Visibility, ensuring accurate, near real‐time data flows from POS and other upstream systems. Partner with business, merchandising, and planning stakeholders to integrate merchandising and planning systems with SAP, ensuring data consistency and end‐to‐end process alignment (buying, allocation, replenishment, pricing, and promotions). Provide senior SME guidance during fit‐gap, design workshops, testing, cutover, and hypercare, including mentoring project teams and supporting issue resolution in production. Qualifications 15+ years of hands‐on experience in SAP Retail solutioning and implementation, with a track record of leading large, complex retail transformation programs. Deep expertise in SAP Retail Master Data, Pricing and Promotion, and SAP CAR (including POSDTA, OSA, and Inventory Visibility) with proven ability to design and optimize end‐to‐end processes. Strong, practical understanding of merchandising and planning system integration with SAP (e.g., integration to planning & allocation tools, assortment planning, forecasting, replenishment). Demonstrated experience working as a senior client‐facing consultant, facilitating design workshops, documenting solution designs, and aligning IT and business stakeholders on best practices. Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to operate independently, and provide guidance to offshore/nearshore delivery teams.
