Responsibilities

• Under the administrative direction of the Administrator, Educational Services/Regional Occupation Program will provide instruction and training realistic in terms of current and future work specifications in a classroom setting and through community classroom/work experience to prepare grant eligible students for employment in the career field required.
• Responsible for curriculum and program development, student performance objectives and evaluation.
• Responsible for developing community sites for student internships.
• Provides creative leadership within student groups, school personnel and the public sector.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or recognized equivalent. Credentials & Requirements: *Hold/qualify for a valid CA Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Credential in the subject to be taught, including skills appropriate to the career field are required. *Valid California Driver’s License. *Minimum liability insurance required by law. *DMV Driver Record printout required. Experience *Three (3) years of work experience in the required career field are required. One (1) of the three (3) years of the required experience must be within the last five (5) years, or two (2) years within the last ten (10) years. MUST HAVE CULINARY EXPERIENCE AS THIS IS FOR THE CULINARY ESSENTIALS PROGRAM.
