Job Summary

Coordinate publicity campaigns and media relations for music/entertainment clients, balancing campaign strategy, event logistics, and timely reporting from a remote role with on-site Nashville support for events.

  • Campaign orchestration: collaborate on strategy and cross-team execution to shape client narratives.
  • Media outreach: pitch, secure coverage, and surface new opportunities across outlets.
  • Event and tour logistics: manage appearances, invites, and press schedules with concise recaps.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Work on multiple publicity campaigns from day one
  • Draft written material: press releases, pitch letters, media alerts, talking points, etc.
  • Draft, update, and deliver finalized press reports to supervisors
  • Share daily press clippings with supervisor + client
  • Maintain client EPK and client notes documents in an organized and timely manner
  • Collaborate with team members on campaign strategy.
  • Oversee logistics of appearances, interviews, and events
  • Log tour press requests, send invites, pitch previews, create master tour press schedules
  • Monitor client communication + be on top of all emails and action items
  • Draft call agenda, take notes on calls and send recaps / next steps to client

Requirements

  • This position is remote, but candidates must be located in or near Nashville to provide on-site support for events as required
  • Ideally, one year of PR experience and at least two PR / communications internships
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • An eye for detail
  • Ability to work hard and persevere through challenges
  • Initiative, problem solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience in leadership roles
  • Ability to keep track of several working media conversations at once
  • Ability to take direction well and follow through
  • Desire to be a team player
