You're culturally wired. You catch trends early, know which stories resonate with which editors, and have relationships that open doors. You think in campaigns but execute in details — and you know the difference between coverage that looks good in a report and coverage that actually moves the needle.

What You’ll Do

• Lead press strategy from concept through post-campaign — define the story, shape the approach, and own every deliverable along the way.
• Translate client objectives into a clear earned idea or angle that is both strategic and culturally relevant.
• Write pitches, releases, and media alerts that feel tailored — every outlet gets something that speaks to them specifically.
• Pitch proactively to keep momentum throughout a campaign — before, during, and after launch.
• Collaborate closely with account, creative, and strategy teams to ensure campaigns land at the intersection of culture, media, talent, and creators.
• Advise clients on priorities and opportunities — real guidance grounded in insight, not just status updates.
• Plan and execute press events and activations end-to-end, from logistics to on-site execution to follow-through.
• Build and leverage your network to expand coverage opportunities and get the right stories to the right people.
• Track coverage, measure impact, and use insights to shape smarter campaigns going forward.

Who You Are

• You have 4 years of experience in PR at an agency, leading earned/culture-driven work for consumer and lifestyle brands.
• You’re deeply plugged into culture — from trends to talent moves — and understand how media, creators, and cultural touchpoints connect to amplify a story.
• You’re results-oriented without being metrics-obsessed — you care that work lands in a way that matters.
• You’re a strong relationship-builder with a network you actively leverage.
• You’re sharp on strategy — you can take a vague client ask and turn it into a clear, compelling earned idea, knowing when to push a story and when to hold.
• You’re a clear, compelling writer who tailors everything — pitches, messaging, materials — to the outlet and the moment.
• You’re collaborative and direct — improving work without complicating it.
• You’re a mentor who helps teammates sharpen instincts, grow networks, and develop professionally.
• You move fast without cutting corners, delivering thoughtful, high-quality work every time.

Salary and benefits

• Salary range: $80,000-$100,000
