Job Summary

Own and orchestrate data-driven organic PR and industry communications to elevate Site IQ’s client as a leading voice in smart buildings, PropTech, and AI-enabled facility operations.

Media relations: secure placements and build journalist relationships across technology, business, and industry outlets.
Thought leadership and storytelling: guide executive positioning on LinkedIn, interviews, speaking engagements, and quarterly Building Intelligence reports.
Strategic alignment: partner with marketing and leadership to tie PR to inbound marketing and business development while tracking timely market-trend opportunities.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive organic PR and media relations strategy
Secure placements in relevant industry publications, business journals, and technology media outlets
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, and conference organizers
Identify and pitch timely, data-driven story opportunities tied to industry trends and market shifts
Assist in developing quarterly “Building Intelligence” reports and other thought leadership assets
Coordinate contributed articles, executive interviews, and speaking opportunities
Support executive LinkedIn thought leadership and visibility initiatives
Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to align PR with inbound marketing and business development goals
Monitor media opportunities, industry conversations, and newsjacking opportunities relevant to Site IQ’s market

Requirements

B2B technology, PropTech, commercial real estate, energy, SaaS, AI, or smart building industry experience preferred
Proven track record securing earned media placements and thought leadership opportunities
Strong understanding of enterprise-level marketing and long sales cycle communication strategies
Experience working with data-driven storytelling and industry research/report positioning
Excellent writing, media pitching, and relationship-building skills
Familiarity with LinkedIn thought leadership and executive brand positioning

Preferred

Experience within commercial real estate, smart buildings, facility operations, energy management, or enterprise technology industries is highly preferred.
