Job Summary

Own and drive agency marketing and digital delivery initiatives, coordinating day-to-day campaigns, cross‑team collaboration, status updates, scope and budget tracking, risk management, and process improvements while growing toward product management.

  • Lead campaigns, content, and web/digital projects with oversight
  • Align creative, marketing, strategy, UX, and technology teams
  • Develop product management skills alongside senior leadership

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Work (with oversight): Manage day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns, brand initiatives, social content and activations, and digital product projects — think campaign rollouts, content calendars, social launches, and web builds — ensuring everything stays on track, on time, and within scope.
  • Coordinate the Teams : Support cross-functional collaboration across creative, marketing, strategy, UX, and technology teams. Ensure alignment, flag issues early, and facilitate smooth handoffs between disciplines.
  • Be a Communicator: Act as a reliable point of contact for internal teams and external partners. Share project updates, manage expectations, and participate in client conversations with clarity and professionalism.
  • Support Scope & Budget: Help define deliverables, maintain timelines, and track budgets across marketing and digital work. Flag scope changes when they happen and partner with senior PMs and the Senior Product Manager to document and escalate as needed.
  • Manage Risk (with guidance): Identify project issues or risks early and help resolve them before they escalate. Know when to raise your hand and pull in senior leadership.
  • Embrace Process: Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall approaches depending on project type. Help manage sprint planning, backlog updates, and milestone tracking.
  • Keep the Quality High: Assist in QA efforts, make sure key checkpoints happen, and help deliver final assets that meet expectations and brand standards.
  • Grow Into Product: Partner directly with the Senior Product Manager to build product management skills — contributing to product briefs, backlog grooming, user stories, and requirements documentation as you develop your product craft.
  • Learn & Improve: Participate in post-project retros. Capture lessons learned, refine your toolkit, and contribute to building a stronger delivery culture.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, spanning both marketing/brand and digital/creative-agency environments
  • A genuine hybrid background — comfortable running marketing, brand, or social campaigns as well as digital content and web/product builds
  • Experience with marketing calendars, brand guidelines, and social content pipelines, alongside creative teams, design workflows, and digital delivery
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Smartsheet, Trello)
  • Solid understanding of timelines, workflows, briefs, and resourcing
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Collaborative, curious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks (certifications a plus)
  • A genuine interest in growing into product management, with curiosity about product strategy and roadmapping

Preferred

  • - Certifications: PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are preferred but not required.
  • - Advanced Digital Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO, analytics, digital and social advertising, and mobile app development.
  • - Early Product Exposure: Experience contributing to product requirements, user stories, or roadmaps.
  • - Experience with Tools: Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Workfront, AirTable and Smartsheet.
  • - Industry Experience: Experience working in an advertising or creative agency environment, with exposure to technology and digital product projects, brand marketing, experience marketing, or e-commerce.
