Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of assigned projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
- Partner with project sponsors and team members to define objectives, requirements, timelines, budgets, and success measures.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, documentation, status reports, and project records.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, communicate updates, and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, collaboration, and successful project delivery.
- Support organizational transformation efforts by documenting current and future-state processes and creating implementation roadmaps.
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to prioritize work, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent combination of experience and training in managing projects, resources and performing data analytics.
- Minimum of three years of experience in working with remote teams.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification or the ability to obtain.
- Analytical skills, experience in data mining and presenting findings in a digestible format for the intended audience.
Preferred
- CPSM, CPM, PMP, Project+, or CAPM certification preferred.
- Understanding of higher education, WGU, and the procurement profession preferred.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
