Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Project Coordinator II for the Voorhees Transport Center.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Provides assistance to grant-related activities at the center.
  • Assists Principal Investigators (PIs) with daily business processes associated with sponsored projects and center activities as well as the logistics and implementation of project-related meetings and events such as trainings, workshops, focus groups, advisory committee meetings, and conferences.
  • Assists with meeting/event invitations and registration processes, promotion and marketing through website and other electronic media.
  • Monitors expenditures within budget constraints.
  • Coordinates event logistics for both online and in person meetings.
  • Oversees administrative compliance with project-related time-keeping, expense reporting and procurement.
  • Coordinates the hiring and onboarding of student research assistants.
  • Ensures that all Rutgers protocols are maintained including risk management, emergency procedures, insurance, etc.
