Job Summary

Owns the design, setup, execution and optimization of enrollment communications across Slate and other platforms, from audience building to post-launch analysis.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Executes enrollment communication tactics, including Slate queries and recipient lists, emails, letters, mailing lists, text-message audiences, social media target lists and related deliverables.
  • Builds, schedules and quality-checks communications to ensure content, audience criteria, timing, personalization and suppression rules are accurate before launch, with the assistance of the supervisor.
  • Develops procedures and guidelines for the execution of campaign tactics in CRM (Slate) and other systems.
  • Sets up templates, standard content blocks, and individual email messages in email systems (Slate, DotDigital).
  • Monitors and reports on the performance of current campaign tactics, discusses changes, and makes agreed upon adjustments.
  • Reviews past performance and researches new approaches to identify successes, opportunities and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Schedules and executes departmental tactics for academic and support units.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred

  • Experience using a CRM or email platform to build audiences/queries and execute communications. Slate experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
  • Ability to analyze campaign results, troubleshoot processes and recommend practical improvements.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Experience with strategic communications and/or marketing campaign development.
