Responsibilities

• Develop creative PR ideas and media angles, and turn them into pitches that generate meaningful results for clients.
• Pitch media, build relationships with key reporters and identify new opportunities to get clients into relevant conversations
• Work directly with clients to manage content approvals, coordinate media interviews and keep projects moving forward
• Stay on top of relevant industry news, media trends and conversations to identify timely opportunities for clients
• Successfully build detailed status agendas and ensure progress is being made across various projects simultaneously.
• Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 Account Coordinators and 1-2 interns

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional PR experience in an agency environment (technology-focused preferred).
• A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English or a related field.
• Solid writing skills, as proven by supplied samples.
• Experience pitching media and a demonstrated understanding of what makes a strong media story.
• An interest in technology; learning about and talking about tech will be a vital part of every day at griffin360.
• Must be located in or willing to commute to Manhattan office 2x a week (this is a hybrid position).
