Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door outreach to engage community members about political campaigns and initiatives
• Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, gather data, and track canvassing progress efficiently
• Engage in face-to-face conversations with diverse audiences to inform and motivate support
• Promote campaign messages through energetic canvassing, fundraising efforts, and community events
• Use strong communication skills to negotiate, persuade, and build rapport with residents
• Participate in outdoor work environments, walking neighborhoods to maximize outreach coverage
• Assist with telemarketing efforts when needed to expand campaign reach and engagement
• Support community engagement activities by coordinating with local organizations and attending events

Requirements

• Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or door-to-door outreach preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in conversational dialogue and active listening
• Supervising experience or leadership roles are a plus for team coordination tasks
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse communities effectively
• Experience in marketing, fundraising, or customer service enhances success in this role
• Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and persuade while maintaining professionalism
• Prior outdoor work experience or familiarity with community engagement activities is advantageous
