Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door outreach to engage residents and share information about political candidates or issues
• Identify potential supporters through active canvassing and record voter responses accurately
• Promote campaign messages using persuasive communication skills tailored to diverse audiences
• Gather feedback from community members to inform campaign strategies and outreach efforts
• Coordinate with team members to ensure coverage of assigned neighborhoods and events
• Utilize bilingual skills to connect with a broader range of community members effectively
• Assist with fundraising activities by encouraging donations and explaining campaign goals

Requirements

• Previous supervising or leadership experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn on the job is essential
• Strong marketing, sales, or customer service background to effectively communicate with varied audiences
• Experience in door-to-door canvassing, telemarketing, or fundraising is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation of messages
• Ability to negotiate, persuade, and handle challenging conversations professionally
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is a plus for reaching diverse communities
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
