Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Content Creation: Capture and edit engaging, short-form vertical video (TikTok, Instagram Reels) showcasing real guest experiences, bachelorette parties, and corporate events.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute email newsletters and targeted promotions to secure group Private Charter bookings.
  • Local Outreach: Identify and coordinate partnerships with local Boston micro-influencers, event planners, and tourism groups.
  • On-Site Asset Gathering: Visit the docks/boats in Charlestown 1–2 times per month during the peak season to gather fresh visual assets and sync with the crew.
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote Cycleboatboston's tours and charters.
  • Manage social media accounts, creating engaging content to attract and retain customers.
  • Utilize marketing automation tools to streamline campaigns and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the sales and operating team to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies.
  • Update website content as needed to ensure it reflects current offerings.

Requirements

  • Location: Must live in the Greater Boston area to accommodate periodic on-site content sessions.
  • Social Native: Proven experience building engagement on TikTok and Instagram (portfolio or links to managed accounts preferred).
  • Tools: Proficiency with cap-cut/mobile video editing tools, and standard email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
  • Autonomy: Strong time-management skills to consistently deliver remote work without micro-management.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media management is essential.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and detail.
