Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction to enable students to develop literacy skills.
• Prepare instruction methods based on student's needs and interests.
• Create positive educational climate for students.
• Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community.
• Be able to effectively use technology including, but not limited to technology for surveying, graphic and the presentation of data.
• Possess knowledge of language development, the reading process, and the components of reading performance to assess and instruct.
• Provide diagnostic testing to determine students reading challenges and determine reading programs appropriate to a student's reading difficulty to remediate reading challenges.

Requirements

• Appropriate NJ Certification Required.
• Have significant knowledge of data collection, data analysis, and data reporting.
• Be able to effectively use technology including, but not limited to technology for surveying, graphic and the presentation of data.
• Possess knowledge of language development, the reading process, and the components of reading performance to assess and instruct.
• Provide diagnostic testing to determine students reading challenges and determine reading programs appropriate to a student's reading difficulty to remediate reading challenges.

• Working Conditions : Full Time, Leave Replacement Through February 22, 2027
