Job Title: Ophthalmic Office Manager / Assistant
Pay: $25 to $40 per hour.
Job Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:
(Training will be provided where needed)
- Greet and check in patients, verifying ID, insurance, and check-in forms.
- Verify insurance eligibility, copay, and deductible.
- Collect payments and manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
- Answer phone calls, relay messages, and maintain clear communication with the team.
- Clean exam rooms between patients.
- Document patients' chief complaints, medical history, and medication lists.
- Work up the patients: visual acuity, intraocular pressure, applying eye drops
- Take clinical images, perform visual fields, refract the patient.
- Uphold a professional atmosphere and appearance consistent with an ophthalmology clinic.
- Ensure compliance with Colorado Eye Clinic policies, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage the office inventory and office maintenance
- Manage billing, troubleshoot denied claims
- Participate in marketing activities
- Assist in HR
- Perform additional duties as they arise, contributing to the overall efficiency of the clinic.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Preferred: Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role.
- Ideally interested in long-term opportunities with potential for advancement.
