Responsibilities

• Staying attuned to organizational milestones, developing pitches, regularly interacting with members of the press, coordinating interviews and building a steady cadence of media placements.
• The Media Relations Coordinator is expected to remain updated on current events and news as they identify unique opportunities for World Relief within the news cycle.
• Supporting external-facing writing projects and conducting relevant research and outreach.
• Supporting the Director of Media Relations by facilitating World Relief’s earned media presence.

Requirements

• Travel: 5-10%
• Christian faith is a prerequisite for employment, based upon United States federal guidelines provided in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
