Job Description
This remote, project-based role is for U.S.-based media and information professionals who can create and provide high-quality rights and clearance data for AI training and research. Initial projects may involve synthetic, public, or properly authorized rights and clearance documents.

What you’ll do
- Create realistic media and information datasets, with an initial focus on rights and clearance documents for text, image, audio, video, archival, and syndicated content.
- Label works, contributors, territories, media, terms, usage rights, restrictions, credits, approval status, expirations, and supporting evidence.
- Review chain-of-title, license scope, releases, clearance decisions, and exceptions for internal consistency and practical production use.
- Use public, synthetic, or fully authorized materials and remove confidential deal terms, personal contact details, unreleased content, and third-party material without permission.
- Currently based in the United States.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Professional experience in publishing, journalism, film, television, music, digital media, archives, libraries, licensing, or information services.
- Working knowledge of copyright, releases, licensing terms, provenance, permissions, and rights-clearance workflows.
- Careful document review, written communication, and attention to ownership and usage restrictions.
- Experience preparing or reviewing rights and clearance documents, release forms, license trackers, cue sheets, or chain-of-title materials.
- Background in business affairs, content operations, archives, syndication, publishing rights, music licensing, or media law support.
- Familiarity with rights-management, digital-asset-management, content-management, or metadata systems.
